Our Story
alestemple.net was founded in 2009 out of a simple frustration: professional video templates for Vegas Pro were almost impossible to find. While other editing platforms had thriving template ecosystems, Vegas users were left with very few options.
So we set out to change that. Starting with a handful of project files, we began building a library of hand-crafted, fully customisable templates designed specifically for Vegas Pro. Over the past 17 years, that small collection has grown into a catalogue of 67+ professional templates, OFX plugins for Vegas Pro & DaVinci Resolve Studio, and LUT presets - all rigorously tested and refined to work seamlessly in real-world production workflows.

In 2026, we expanded into a new chapter: custom-built OFX plugins. Developed in C++ with OpenCL GPU acceleration, our plugins integrate natively into both Vegas Pro and DaVinci Resolve Studio timelines - bringing the same standard of professional quality to a wider ecosystem of video editors. Film grain simulation, glitch effects, colour tools - engineered from scratch, tested in real production workflows.

We have worked as an official beta tester and content creator for Vegas Pro since its Vegas Creative Software era - contributing feedback that helped shape the software and getting early access to new features before public release.
Our content - including templates, text presets, transitions, and LUT colour grading presets - was developed in close collaboration with the Vegas team, ensuring the highest level of compatibility and professional quality. Vegas Pro is now part of the BorisFX family of professional video tools.
